Tattoo Care Instructions:
1 - DO I HAVE TO BE AT LEAST 18 TO GET A TATTOO?

YES! N.Y.S. Law requires that you be at least 18 years of age with VALID photo ID. Your parents or guardian CAN NOT sign for you if you are under 18. There are NO Exceptions. ( This means even if you already have a tattoo from somewhere else.)

2 - HOW LONG AFTER GETTING MY TATTOO SHOULD I KEEP IT COVERED?

Remove bandage after 2-4 hour. Wash GENTLY with a MILD SOAP & rinse it well. PAT dry. Allow the area to air-dry then apply a THIN layer of TATTOO OINTMENT. Be sure to rub it in well. More is NOT better! Do not over-do it with the OINTMENT. For The first few days your tattoo will lose fluid. ( this is normal ) This is why it is so Important to air-dry the tattoo, you do not want moisture getting trapped under the Ointment and that the tattoo doesn't stay submerged in water either. We recommend washing your tattoo acouple times throughout the day, using mild soap, and rinsing and drying well. Frequency of cleaning depends on your lifestyle - use your best judgement, don't overdo it. DO NOT re-bandage your tattoo.

3 - MY TATTOO FORMED SCABS, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Some scabbing is normal, DO NOT PICK IT! Should any "bubbling" of your tattoo occur. Bubbling is caused from moisture (usually too much ointment) getting trapped in your tattoo, and could lead to scabbing. If scabs develop, they can remove the color. It is important that they are allowed to dry out completely, and not at any time get water-logged The scab will eventually fall off on its own and your tattoo should be fine.

4 - HOW LONG UNTIL I CAN SWIM, SOAK IN A BATH OR TAN?

We recommend waiting at least 3 to 4 weeks. You want to give your new tattoo plenty of time to heal to help avoid infection. Once your tattoo is COMPLETLEY healed you will want to use the strongest SPF sunscreen you can. Using sunscreen will help keep the colors bright. DO NOT use sunscreen on a tattoo that is new. If you must be out in the sun, keep the tattoo covered with clothing.

5 - WHAT IS THE PRICE OF A TATTOO?

Artist will price either by the hour or by the piece, whichever applies. Artist charge around $150 an hour. We are extremely affordable and moderately priced considering the level of artistry provided. We are a top notch studio, but no one here suffers from delusional ego trips or inflated pay rates. We just want to do great art! Our minimum fee is only $80 dollars.
